CJNG figure El Tanque ordered held in custody pending Oct. 13 decision

A judge ordered Iván Cazarín Molina, known as El Tanque, held in prison while his case continues.

Prosecutors have accused him of organized crime, drug-related offenses and weapons offenses.

The judge is due to decide on Oct.

13 whether he will face trial on those charges.

Authorities identify him as an operator for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, but the allegations have not been proven in court.
