Lockheed Martin to provide Black Hawk training systems to Philippines

The Philippine Air Force will get a simulator to train Black Hawk pilots and a virtual trainer to teach technicians how to maintain the helicopters.

The systems let crews practice without using a real aircraft.

They are intended to build more training capacity in the Philippines as its helicopter fleet grows.

Pilots will continue training in the United States until local training is fully established.
