Nvidia takes a minority stake in French health platform Doctolib

Nvidia is taking a minority stake in Doctolib, a French platform for booking medical appointments.

The US chipmaker will have no seat on Doctolib’s board.

Doctolib says the investment will help it hire staff and develop AI models it controls, rather than relying on major AI companies.

The company plans to speed up work on health assistants for patients and care teams, including tools for administrative and clinical tasks.

It says it will use Nvidia chips, computing power and software to build AI trained on its own models and data.

Doctolib launched a research programme in August using the personal data of 50 million users to explore how AI could improve care pathways.

Assistants for healthcare workers are among the company’s priorities for 2027 and 2028.
