USDA holds Brazil soybean and corn crop forecasts steady
The US agriculture department kept its forecasts for Brazil’s soybean and corn harvests unchanged.
It expects Brazil to produce 186 million tonnes of soybeans in 2026/27, more than the 180.5 million tonnes forecast for 2025/26.
The forecast for corn is 141 million tonnes in 2025/26 and 139 million in 2026/27.
These crops matter because the forecasts show how much grain Brazil may produce in the coming seasons.
