Rain expected in southern South Korea and Jeju on Sunday

South Korea is forecast to have mixed weather on Sunday, October 11.

Rain is expected in parts of the southern provinces and Jeju, mainly from morning until 9 p.m.

Some areas of southern Gangwon, southeastern inland South Chungcheong and Chungcheongbuk-do may also get rain in the afternoon.

Forecast rainfall ranges from under 5 millimeters in parts of the central regions to as much as 20 millimeters in inland parts of Daegu, North Gyeongsang and South Gyeongsang.

Temperatures are expected to range from morning lows of 10 to 20 degrees Celsius to daytime highs of 22 to 28 degrees.

Central inland areas may have a day-to-night temperature difference of about 15 degrees, so conditions could feel quite different over the course of the day.

The forecast advises taking care of health amid these temperature swings.
