Churchill painting gifted to his daughter to be auctioned in London

Winston Churchill painted Amaryllis Lily in 1948 and gave it to his daughter, Lady Mary Soames.

She donated it to the Churchill Fellowship in 1995.

The painting will be auctioned in London on October 21, with proceeds supporting the group’s “Making Space for the Arts” program.

The sale could help fund arts activities through the fellowship.
