Prosecutors seek detention of two journalists in Turkey

The investigation concerns transactions in Turkey’s capital markets.

Two journalists were taken to court after being accused of publicly spreading misleading information, and prosecutors requested their detention.

The request does not mean a court has ordered them detained.

Two other journalists were summoned to give statements as suspects.
