Trump says US will not strike Iran before November midterms
Trump says the US will not attack Iran before the November 3 elections.
He says talks with Iran are continuing.
The announcement helped ease fears of a wider conflict, and oil prices fell.
But tensions remain around the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for oil shipments.
