Jaguars sign long snapper Bobenmoyer after Matiscik’s shoulder injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer to their practice squad after Ross Matiscik hurt his shoulder in a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The injury happened in London, where the Jaguars are playing two straight games.

Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton handled eight snaps during the game, but some were inaccurate.

Bobenmoyer has arrived in London and may be elevated to play for at least a game or two while Matiscik recovers.

Matiscik is not expected to be placed on injured reserve.

The Kansas City Chiefs also signed wide receiver Justin Watson, who played for them from 2022 to 2024.

Injuries to receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton could give Watson a quick route back into a game-day role.
