Atiku criticizes Tinubu’s proposed 30-day petrol discount

Atiku says a petrol discount lasting 30 days will not solve the high costs facing Nigerians.

He asked what would happen when the discount ends and called for longer-term support for fuel refined in Nigeria.

He also said the government should disclose the cost of the plan and have it independently checked.

Atiku is the African Democratic Congress candidate for Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
