BPJS Workers Can Withdraw 10% or 30% of JHT Savings While Employed

Indonesia’s BPJS Ketenagakerjaan allows some members to withdraw part of their Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) savings without retiring or leaving their jobs.

Members who have participated for at least 10 years can claim 10% for retirement preparation or 30% to buy a home, either with cash or a mortgage.

The withdrawal is limited to those portions of the balance, not the full amount.

Applicants need documents such as their BPJS membership card and identity card; home-purchase claims require additional property or loan documents.

Members can apply through the JMO app, which lets them submit details and track their claim.

The stated processing time is usually one to three working days.
