Honda riders struggle in Indonesian GP practice and fall behind 2025 pace

Honda’s riders had a difficult first day of practice at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

Luca Marini was slower than he had been at the same track last year, while other Honda riders also finished outside the top 10.

They said the bike lacked grip and gave them little feedback from the front tyre.

Honda will need to improve before the next sessions to compete with faster manufacturers.
