South Korean speaker seeks energy and defense ties during Croatia visit

Cho Jeong-sik met Croatia’s president, parliament speaker and prime minister during a visit to discuss closer ties.

The talks covered energy and defense, as well as the economy and culture.

A South Korean company recently agreed to sell Croatia 18 Chunmoo rocket systems for about 640 billion won.

The deal could lead to cooperation beyond weapons sales, including industry and military support.
