Dalaroo, Horizon and Omega report new exploration results
Several Australian-listed resources companies have reported new results from their exploration and operations.
Dalaroo Metals found sulphide mineralisation along a gold exploration corridor at its Bondoukou project in Côte d’Ivoire, about 1.25 kilometres from the Wilfred discovery.
Assay results from several holes are expected from early November, and further drilling is planned for October.
Horizon Gold reported a 44-metre gold intersection at its Snook prospect in Western Australia, as it drills to expand a resource there.
It plans more drilling before updating its estimate of the deposit in the coming months.
In Queensland, Omega Oil & Gas said its Canyon-4 well intersected 197 metres of net oil and gas pay, its best result so far, adding to evidence of a potentially extensive reservoir system.
Native Mineral Resources also secured $18 million in financing to support its operations and gold-production growth.
Dalaroo Metals reported sulphide mineralisation at its Bondoukou Gold Ridge project in Côte d’Ivoire.
Horizon Gold reported a top drilling result of 44 metres at 5.08 grams of gold per tonne at its Gum Creek project in Western Australia.
Omega Oil & Gas said its Canyon-4 well intersected 197 metres of net oil and gas pay, its best result to date.
Dalaroo’s sulphide intersection was about 1.25 kilometres northwest of the Wilfred discovery.
Horizon plans further drilling at Gum Creek before a resource update, while Omega said evaluation data supports a multi-level oil and gas-bearing reservoir system.
- Who
- Dalaroo Metals, Horizon Gold and Omega Oil & Gas.
- What
- They reported exploration results from gold drilling and an oil and gas well.
- When
- October 12, 2026.
- Where
- Dalaroo’s Bondoukou Gold Ridge project in Côte d’Ivoire, Horizon’s Gum Creek project in Western Australia, and Omega’s Canyon-4 well in Queensland.
- Why
- The results provide information on mineralisation and resource potential at the projects.
This story does not have two clearly opposing sides.
The company would focus on maintaining strong plant performance, improving the consistency of feed and converting that performance into higher and more consistent gold output during the December 2026 quarter.
This story does not have a timeline yet.
