Samoa captain hopes NRL grand final losses will fuel World Cup campaign

Samoa captain Junior Paulo knows how hard it is to lose an NRL grand final just before a World Cup.

He hopes four teammates who lost last Sunday can use that disappointment to help the team.

Samoa reached the World Cup final in 2022 and will try to do so again.

The men's tournament begins next week.
