Ámbar de Benedictis pays tribute to her grandfather Piero
Argentine singer Piero died on October 7 at age 81.
His granddaughter Ámbar de Benedictis paid tribute to him in a social media post.
She shared the cover of his album “Canto a la ternura” and lyrics from “La sinfonía inconclusa en la mar.”
Ámbar had previously said the song was one of her favorites and once asked Piero to sing it at her school.
She also attended his private wake in Buenos Aires, where family, colleagues and followers came to pay their respects.
Piero’s funeral procession went to Recoleta Cemetery on October 9, where he was buried.
The song’s place in their relationship gave her tribute a personal meaning.
