Tottenham plan Marbella training camp after Manchester United game

Tottenham plan to fly to Marbella, in southern Spain, after Saturday’s Premier League game at Manchester United.

The team are bottom of the table after five games without a win; the BBC says they have two draws, while the Daily Mail says they have two points.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi hopes the trip will help turn around the team’s start to the season.

Tottenham have nine days between the United game and their next match, a home game against newly promoted Coventry on Monday, October 19.

The club added 10 players over the summer and spent more than £250 million, but the new squad has had little time to settle together.

The camp is unusual so early in the season, and is intended to give players time to train and bond.

Marbella is forecast to reach 25 degrees, while rain is expected at Tottenham’s training base in Enfield.
