Naruto roadmap includes new manga and crossover anime through 2029
At New York Comic Con, organizers announced Project Rasengan, a slate of Naruto projects planned through 2029.
It includes Naruto: Shadow Rising, a new manga by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, with more details expected at Jump Festa 2027.
Another project is Naruto x Ninku, a crossover anime now in production that brings Naruto together with Ninku, a series that inspired Kishimoto.
The roadmap also lists a Naruto card game set for a worldwide launch in June 2027 and a global release of the mobile game Naruto Mobile, though no release date was given for the game.
A live-action Naruto movie is also in the works, but no casting or teaser was announced.
The plans follow several years of relative quiet for the franchise and arrive as it marks its 25th anniversary.
The roadmap lists at least eight releases before the end of the decade, though details and dates for some projects remain unclear.
