New Naruto Manga and Four-Part Crossover Anime Announced
A new Naruto manga called Naruto: Shadow Rising was announced at New York Comic Con.
Masashi Kishimoto, who created the original Naruto manga, will write and draw it.
The story is set between the end of Naruto and the start of its sequel, Boruto.
A trailer shows Sarada as a baby and Naruto and Sasuke fighting, but further plot details have not been revealed.
The announcement also included a four-part anime crossover between Naruto and Ninkū.
Kishimoto has said Ninkū inspired Naruto, though it is less familiar to many Western viewers.
The manga is expected to begin in 2027; no release date for the anime was given.
