Google appears to be developing HDR emoji for Chat

A recent Gmail app version contains code pointing to HDR emoji in Google Chat.

HDR can make supported emoji look brighter and show more contrast.

The code does not make clear whether this would cover all emoji or only some.

Google has not officially announced the feature.
