Man sought after threatening someone with a weapon at Amersfoort health centre

A man entered a health centre in Amersfoort and threatened someone with a weapon.

The centre in the Leusderkwartier houses services including a pharmacy, doctors, physiotherapists and psychologists.

No one was injured, and what exactly happened remains unclear.

Police searched several places, including nearby woodland, and a specialist unit entered an apartment building, but no one was arrested.

The man had not been found the following day, and police said the search was continuing.

Police said he may be behaving in a confused way and could still have a weapon, so they asked people to call 112 if they see him.
