Orkut founder asks users to support a possible return of the social network

Orkut was a popular social network that Google shut down in 2014.

Its founder is asking people to show support for bringing it back.

He says he wants social media to focus more on real people and friendships.

A return is not certain, and he has not said whether a new version is being built.
