75% of French VAT firms had chosen e-invoice platforms by October 4

France has started requiring businesses to use electronic invoices.

By October 4, three-quarters of VAT-registered businesses had chosen a platform, and more than 20 million invoices had been exchanged.

Some businesses say platform costs and compatibility problems need attention.

The government says companies will not be fined in 2026 for not yet choosing a platform.
