More than 10,000 Saratov residents received pension savings as lump sums

More than 10,000 Saratov residents have received pension savings in a lump sum this year.

In 2026, the payment is available if a person’s savings total no more than 439,560 rubles.

The savings may come from past employer contributions, a state co-financing program or maternity capital directed to a pension account.

Women can generally claim at 55 and men at 60, while some people who retired early may also qualify; applicants must have 15 years of insured work and at least 30 pension points.

Larger savings are paid in monthly instalments as a funded pension or a fixed-term pension payment.

People should apply to the fund holding their savings, which may be a non-state pension fund.

Residents can check their balance through a statement from the government services portal, a regional Social Fund office or a multifunctional centre.
