Weekly photo selection highlights clouds and contrasts

The selection brings together seven photographs with clouds appearing in most of them.

Some show dramatic skies over landscapes or energy sites.

Others use humor or quiet scenes to create contrasts.

Together, the images show how photographers make familiar subjects feel striking.
