Bite marks suggest raptors or a young Albertosaurus fed on a dead relative
Researchers found bite marks on the jaw of a young Albertosaurus fossil.
The lack of healing suggests the animal was bitten around the time it died.
Smaller raptors may have scavenged its body, but a baby Albertosaurus could also have eaten it.
If so, the fossil would provide rare evidence of cannibalism among dinosaurs.
