Sam Wood denied bail after being charged with assaulting and strangling his wife

Sam Wood has been charged with assaulting and trying to strangle his wife during a family holiday.

He denies both charges.

A magistrate refused his bail, so he remains in custody.

The allegations have also led his fitness company to cut ties with him.
