Madrid Metro to add trains for Shakira concerts this weekend

Madrid expects large crowds for Shakira’s final concerts at Iberdrola Music.

Metro lines 3 and 12 will add trains on October 9, 10 and 11 to help people travel to and from the shows.

Line 3’s service could rise by as much as 260% at certain times, while Line 12 will have about 25% more trains as people leave.

Extra staff and security are also planned to help manage crowds.
