21-year-old woman found dead in Melbourne’s Carlton suburb
Jayda Allen Bonner, 21, was found dead in an apartment in Carlton, an inner-city suburb of Melbourne, early Saturday.
Police said they were called to the Cardigan Street apartment just before 2am.
Victoria Police homicide detectives are investigating her death.
A 60-year-old man was arrested nearby and interviewed, but has since been released.
No charges have been laid.
Allen Bonner’s family said they had worried about her safety and had sought help from police about six weeks earlier.
