Attal and Mélenchon put youth protests at the center of weekend rallies

High school students are protesting in France, and the movement is becoming a topic in the 2027 presidential race.

Gabriel Attal plans to speak about youth and education at a rally in Lyon.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon will discuss the protests at a meeting in Clermont-Ferrand on Sunday.

Their comments show how political candidates are trying to connect with young voters.
