Israeli drone strike in Lebanon wounds six, officials say

A drone strike hit a car in Lebanon’s Hermel district, near the Syrian border.

Lebanon’s health ministry said six people were wounded, including five Syrians and one Lebanese person.

Israel’s military said it targeted a Syrian operative who it accused of planning attacks on Israeli forces in Syria.

The strike shows that attacks have continued in Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreed with Hezbollah in June.
