Expanded Pixel Search may come to older Pixel phones

Pixel 11’s search can look across apps such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Messages, so people can find things without opening each app.

Hidden code suggests older Pixel phones updated to Android 17 may get the expanded search too.

The code points to models released since 2021, but the Pixel 6 may be excluded.

If it arrives, the feature could make it easier to find information on older phones.
