Peach Weber plans 2027 farewell shows at Zurich’s Hallenstadion
Swiss comedian Peach Weber, 74, plans to end his stage career with shows at Zurich’s Hallenstadion on 14 and 15 October 2027.
He announced a stage farewell in 2008, but is now preparing these final performances.
Three shows are sold out, and he has ruled out adding a fourth because he lacks confidence in his physical condition.
The programme has not yet been written, though he plans to make it a best-of show.
He says there will be no big band, ballet or tightrope act, so that more money from ticket sales can go to charities.
Weber plans to stay at home after retiring rather than move abroad.
He still has time to put the programme together before the farewell shows.
