Father and Son Pianists Share a Story Through Jazz

Jazz musicians can tell a story without using words.

During a performance in Decatur, father and son Kenny Banks Sr. and Jr. improvised together at the piano.

Their musical back-and-forth reflected their bond and created something new from a familiar piece.

Sharing music and family stories can help people feel connected across generations.
