Mad Swans opens a 12-hole golf course in the South Downs

Mad Swans changed the former 18-hole Blacknest course into a 12-hole course in the South Downs.

The site also offers places to stay, mini-golf, a driving range and other activities.

The change reflects growing interest in shorter golf courses, though 12-hole golf itself is not new.

A shorter course may offer a different way for families and other visitors to spend time at a golf venue.
