Geology Agency Says 60-Meter Tsunami Claim From Anak Krakatau Is False
A social media post claimed Anak Krakatau could cause a 60-meter tsunami.
Indonesia’s Geology Agency says the claim is false and the post was edited from its original content.
The volcano erupted on Oct.
5 and is at Alert Level II, or alert status.
People are advised to stay at least 2 km from its active crater.
