AKMU opens South Korean tour with three Seoul concerts
South Korean sibling duo AKMU performed three concerts in Seoul from Oct.
9 to 11, opening a national tour called “Paradise of Rumors.”
The shows at the KSPO Dome drew a total of 30,000 people.
A circular stage, large screen and band with brass players helped create the feel of a traveling music troupe.
The set included songs from the duo’s fourth album, “Flowering,” as well as older hits.
The crowd sang along and danced, including to the title song, and lit wristbands turned the venue blue during “Fish in the Water.”
AKMU formed after appearing on the TV contest “K-pop Star 2” in 2012 and made its debut in 2014.
