Amazon opens Beauvais warehouse, creating nearly 1,000 jobs

Amazon has opened a warehouse in Beauvais, where robots bring products to workers.

The company says the site will create nearly 1,000 jobs, including 800 permanent positions.

The jobs may bring more business to the area.

But workers and unions say some warehouse tasks are physically demanding, raising questions about conditions on the job.
