Maths teacher assigned to teach literature in French lycée

France plans to send more than 3,000 substitute teachers to high schools facing difficulties.

One maths teacher says she has been assigned to teach modern literature, a subject she is not trained to teach.

She also says the school is outside her assigned area and far from home.

Her case raises questions about whether filling teaching vacancies is enough if students do not get lessons from teachers trained in the subject.
