Street Fighter director is writing sequel ideas, but its future depends on the first film

Kitao Sakurai is already writing ideas for another Street Fighter movie.

But the sequel is not guaranteed.

The first film needs to attract and satisfy enough viewers for the studio to move ahead.

A sequel could continue Ryu and Ken’s story, but its plot and cast have not been confirmed.
