Thieves target rescue tools at fire stations across France

Thieves have stolen rescue tools from fire stations in several parts of France.

The tools can help firefighters free people trapped in crashed cars, so their loss can delay rescue work.

They may also be used to break into cash machines.

In the Bordeaux region, seven people were indicted over thefts, and five admitted taking part.
