Apple teases a home event as rumors point to new smart-home devices

Apple has announced a home-focused event in New York for Tuesday.

It has not said what it will show, but rumors suggest new HomePod Minis, an Apple TV and a screen-equipped home hub.

The devices could bring Apple’s Siri assistant further into people’s homes.

Apple will need to persuade people who already use Alexa or Gemini to consider its system.
