Woman killed in Beersheba stabbing; husband arrested
A woman in her 40s was stabbed in her apartment in Beersheba, a city in southern Israel, and later died in hospital.
Police arrested her husband at the scene and are investigating the killing as a suspected case of domestic violence.
Hebrew media reported that he called police and said he had murdered his wife.
The couple has three children, aged 20, 16 and five, and the youngest was reportedly at home when the stabbing happened.
There had been no previous reports of violence in the family, according to Hebrew media.
