Bus-truck crash in western Turkey kills 11 and injures 27
A tour bus and a truck carrying timber collided near Akhisar in Manisa province, western Turkey, on Sunday.
The crash happened near toll gates on the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir motorway.
Authorities said 11 people were killed and 27 were injured.
Both vehicles overturned, and emergency crews took injured people to hospital.
Prosecutors said the bus driver, truck driver and bus owner, who was also the spare driver, were detained.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
