Florence mayor to report sexist social media comments

Sara Funaro, the mayor of Florence, says she is taking legal action over sexist and offensive comments posted on her social media.

She will ask other mayors to consider doing the same.

Funaro says any money she receives from the cases will help create a fund for women who cannot afford legal support.

The aim is to offer free legal assistance to women who want to report abuse.
