Medisolve acquires Austrian medical equipment services firm Mides
Medisolve, a Milan-based company owned by private equity fund HIG Capital, has acquired Mides GmbH, based in Graz, Austria.
Both companies provide services including repair and maintenance of medical equipment, and Mides also refurbishes it.
The acquisition expands Medisolve’s presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Medisolve says Mides will strengthen its network of laboratories and become the group’s European centre for innovation.
The company also aims to build on Mides’ customer relationships and broaden the services it offers.
Medisolve has more than 1,000 employees, annual revenue above €200 million and staff working in more than 300 European healthcare facilities.
It has also refinanced existing credit lines and secured €70 million in additional financing to support the Mides acquisition and other development projects.
Medisolve has acquired Mides GmbH, an Austrian company providing repair, maintenance and refurbishment services for medical equipment.
The acquisition strengthens Medisolve’s position in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Mides will become the group’s European innovation hub.
Medisolve plans to use Mides’ customer relationships to improve efficiency and broaden its services.
The acquisition is supported by a refinancing that includes €70 million in additional funding for the deal and other development projects.
Medisolve has more than €200 million in revenue and over 1,000 employees, according to Il Sole 24 Ore.
