Delhi SIR Camps Aid Homeless, Transgender Persons and Sex Workers
Delhi officials held special evening camps to help some people take part in the voter-roll process.

The camps operated from 5 pm to 9 pm at DUSIB night shelters and other locations where members of these communities were found.
Officials distributed Form-6 applications, helped people complete them, and accepted Form-6 and Form-8 applications.
The evening schedule was chosen because many homeless and transgender people are away from the streets during daytime hours.
The Delhi poll body deployed 605 additional AEROs alongside 297 existing officers to process notices, claims and objections.
