Batting first, Legends posted 177/6 in 20 overs, anchored by opener Bishal Saha's unbeaten 54, his fourth half-century of the season, which helped him retain the Orange Cap.
Saha and Shraban Khound shared an 81-run opening stand before Khound fell for 47, and Abdul Ajij added late impetus with an unbeaten 32 off 12 balls.
Sunrisers reached 35/0 in 2.5 overs with Pradyun Saikia unbeaten on 33 off 13 before persistent rain forced the umpires to call off the contest.
