Bishal Saha aims to power Barak Legends to APL title

There is a new cricket league in Assam called the Assam Premier League, or APL.

A player named Bishal Saha plays for a team called Barak Legends as an opening batter.

He bats with his left hand and he has been scoring a lot of runs.

Saha has made 279 runs in six games, which is the most of anyone in the league so far.

Because of his good scores, he holds a special award called the Orange Cap.

Saha says he had been preparing for the league for about five or six months.

He wants to keep playing well, especially in the first overs of a match, called the powerplay.

He believes the APL is a big chance for local cricketers to be noticed by selectors.

His big goal is to help his team reach the finals and win the trophy.
