GT Bharathi Secures World Trade Center License for Chengalpattu
A company called GT Bharathi got a special permission called a license.
This license lets it use the famous name 'World Trade Center.'
That name is used by more than 300 business centers in almost 100 countries.
GT Bharathi will use the name for a big new project in a place called Chengalpattu, in Tamil Nadu, India.
The project will be a huge town with offices, shops, homes, schools, and hotels.
It will be built on about 150 acres of land.
The project is expected to cost around ₹7,000 crore.
When it is finished, it could create over 1,00,0000 jobs for people in the area.
Building it will happen step by step over about ten years.
The goal is to help local businesses trade with companies around the world.
GT Bharathi (GTB) has been granted a license by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) to develop a World Trade Center business in Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu.
The license places GTB among more than 300 WTC businesses across nearly 100 countries, making it one of the major developers to carry the WTC name in South India.

At full build-out, the development is expected to generate over 1,00,0000 jobs, with the masterplan unfolding in phases over roughly a decade.
